Ladies' Round Gown

Ladies' Round Gown
with a Bib Front c.1800-1810

Description

Here I am, all dressed up with no where to go. This dress was made for an event that was cancelled due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 (aka Corona) virus. So instead we had to make pictures in or garden. The dress is a cotton with a vintage Laura Ashley print. All the underlayers; chemise, stays, bodiced petticoat, pockets and bumroll are cotton as well. The straw bonnet is bought but I decorated it myself with autumn flowers as the event was to take place in Autumn.

Ladies' Round Gown
In August 2020 I was invited by a friend to join The Meryton Society for a Regency walk and a picknic. So I was still able wear my new outfit which made me realy happy.
