1850-1915Victorian Gents Costume
Description
Original black silk top hat, dated to ca. 1910, decorated with holly. Single breasted black woollen morning coat, with black silk covered buttons. Jacqard vest with fabric covered buttons, green cotton lining and back. Purchased white cotton dress shirt with wing tip collar. Green silk Ostonblade tie. Grey woollen trousers and black leather shoes.

Looking at the two images you can conclude that Men's fashion didn't change as much as women's through the Victorian era.
Around 1850 ladies wore the crinoline dress and around 1880 the bustle dress, two very different silhouets.
